Post-stroke dysphagia is a common complication that can significantly compromise patients' quality of life. This narrative literature review examines the impact of speech therapy rehabilitation on the quality of life of these patients, evaluating intervention methods and their effects. The approaches analyzed include swallowing exercises, compensatory techniques and electrical neuromuscular stimulation (ENME). The results indicate that these interventions improve swallowing function, reduce complications such as aspiration pneumonia and promote social reintegration, positively reflecting on patients' quality of life. This review aims to provide a basis for improving clinical practices and guiding future research.
